Ideas - Hints : Attitude - Motivation ADOPT A POSITIVE
ATTITUDE AND IMAGE Download the above brochures
for use in your office. To be truly successful, you need
to have many qualities and attributes. Some are value based and come from within.
Others are skills, and these must be constantly honed until they become a habit,
a natural reflex action. Like top athletes, these disciplines
must constantly be reinforced. In the Eighties, Debbie
Flintoff King won the Olympic Gold Medal for Australia by one hundredth of a second. Who
came second, or third? They too must have been superb athletes but they didn't
win GOLD. To win GOLD in Real Estate, your attention to
detail, attitude and skills will be the difference between winning and losing.
Life gives us the freedom to choose, to win or to lose. Greg
Norman, Australia's wealthiest sportsman admitted he was completely broke when
he won his first British Open in 1986. He was in desperate financial straits and
stated he "did not have a penny to his name". Previously
commanding 6 figure appearance fees, he refuses to elaborate on how he lost his
first fortune. Of 1986, Norman says "I was backed into a comer and the only
way I could get out of it was to play, play hard and be dedicated". The rest
is history. He earned another fortune. Anne Currie is another.
Although born with only three fingers on her right hand she smashed three world
swimming records. Her training consisted of a six day program involving swimming,
gym work and the mental approach to success in addition to holding down a responsible
full time position. One of her other goals is to be a successful swimming coach. Sometimes
when things do not seem to be going the way you want them to. Do something different.
