to be structured, ongoing, evaluated and monitored. Testing processes
need to be: - Fair
- Sufficient
- Relevant
- Current
- Evaluated
The
trainer needs to provide positive, effective and constructive feedback. Open
problem / issue solving technique. The brainstorming technique is a
group activity used to create new ideas and improvements in your business. Needs:
- White board or butchers paper.
Rules: - One person
(either internal or externally appointed) acts as the facilitator.
- Suggested
numbers of participants not to exceed 10 (6 to 8 is ideal). If there is to be
more than 10 then consider breaking into groups.
- Accurately identify topic.
- Facilitator
(or assistant) writes everything down.
Early Stage:
- Wild ideas are totally acceptable and must be written down (wild ideas may
lead to further creative thoughts).
- Continually generate ideas and come
up with as many as possible.
- Build on ideas and different combinations
and creative directions will often occur.
- Then the ideas are all written
down.
- Start evaluating and prioritising the ideas using an Action
Planner which has a time line approach, eg who to action them and by when.
- Discuss
implementing the ideas. This may warrant a further brainstorming session.
